Abstract

The objective of this work was to determine the relationship between financial education and entrepreneurship development in Peruvian higher education students. The methodology structure includes a quantitative approach, applied type, descriptive correlational scope, and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 300 students from a public institute in San Martín; For data collection, a previously validated questionnaire was applied. The results revealed that the level of financial education in students is high, at 46%; in the same way, the development of entrepreneurship is high at 49%. In conclusion, financial education is highly and significantly related to the development of entrepreneurship (ґ=.878). This indicates that the more financial education a student receives, the higher the level of entrepreneurship manifested both in entrepreneurial attitudes, and development of the entrepreneurial spirit or spirit, manifesting both culture and entrepreneurial well-being in the Peruvian social context.
