Abstract

It is expected that the Information System´s (IS) effectiveness in organizations will result in benefits not only organizational but also for the users who operate it. The present research aims to measure the individual and organizational impact that users perceive of IS in SME in Argentina. The proposed adaptation of the instrument was subjected to expert inspection in order to obtain evidence of content validity. The current version consists of 45 items that evaluate each dimension of the selected model: (a) Individual Impact, (b) Organizational Impact, (c) Information Quality and (d) IS Quality. The instrument intends to be applied to users of companies that have IS and that could identify needs for improvement in order to increase the effectiveness of their business and, consequently, benefit the organizational community.
